A 'ceilidh' is a neighborhood gathering which includes music, dancing and storytelling. Produced in that spirit, South Wind brings together many gifted folk musicians from the Boston area in a recording which captures the flavor and feeling of what traditional communities have been doing for generations, expressing themselves in story and song.
