Buck Jones plays a man on parole for a crime he didn't commit. Upon returning home, he discovers that the once-friendly townsfolk will have nothing to do with him, since they continue to believe he killed the detective. The only supporters Jones has are a small boy who idolizes him (Ernest) and his former sweetheart (Sayers). Jones spends the rest of the film tracking down the real killer and brings him to justice.
