The Spins is an Italian (Torino) electronic pop/rock band with some great dance influences! The band is formed by Alessia Mattalia -the most well-known female drummer from Italy- in April 2004. Together with the other 4 band members -Elisabetta Beiletti (lead vocals), Marcello Giordano (keyboards), Andrea Fantuzzi (guitar) and Michele Manzo (bass)- they produced and recorded 5 powerful and energetic songs. The Spins is inspired by bands like Toto, Beatles, Kraftwerk and The Who. However, The Spins got a fascinating and fresh own sound! Later in 2004, The Spins got signed by Dying Giraffe Recordings, a Dutch internet based record label and released their EP called 'Hello Baby' through their website in April 2005. An US radio promotion campaign has been started at the end of 2004 already and in April 2005 a (radio) promotion campaign also started in the UK.
