The 4 handsome devils, all in their 20s, that make up SPIN the BOTTLE are Nationally Sponsored by Jagermeister, which contractually binds them to drink in excess at their 3-4 shows per week in the Philly Metro area. These four high-school friends, have cultivated their Modern-Rock sound through years of listening to artists like The Beatles, Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden, Ben Folds Five, Stone Temple Pilots, The Cars, Van Halen & lately Incubus, Hoobastank, & Audioslave. Spin has allowed bands such as Familiar 48 (MCA), Silvertide (J Records), Fuel (Sony 550), Stuttering John (Atlantic), Rob Base & DJ EZ-ROK, Fat Joe (Atlantic) to close the night for them at venues from Connecticut down through Virginia. Their recorded moments have been featured on MTV's UNDRESSED, & are in the standard rotation on over 421 college & small commercial radio stations. Trade publications such as Music Connection, Indie-Music.com, Musicdish, and Adequacy.net have all had more than favorable things to publish about this group of extrememly handsome and talented musicians!* *(according to drummer's mom) Some reviewers have said: Review 1: Philadelphia five piece have made inroads with tight, accessible, radio friendly rock highlighted by Eric Rothenheber's vocals. Source: Music Connection Magazine, 2000 Review 2: Tricky band, starts out with a pure pop-rock radio ready single....showed a variance from the mainstream rock style. Source: Music Dish Magaine, 2000 Review 3: Tight, professionally played mish-mash of ska, Goo Goo Dolls' deadly earnest angst-pop, and Who's arena rock bashing. Source: Listen.com.
