Sound Barn is an alternative country band from Los Angeles and Lookin' Back is their first studio release. Consisting of Randy David on electric guitar, Mike Day on bass, and Jack Willoughby on drums, Sound Barn cranks out a high energy mix of Bakersfield twang and honky tonk drive. Singer songwriters Randy and Mike composed all the tracks on this album with a guest appearance by Mark Insley singing his original, 'Don't Act So Surprised,' a Sound Barn favorite. From the raucous, uptempo 'Bakersfield Cowpolka' to the Eagles-esque title track 'Lookin' Back' this band will have you tapping your feet and singing along. As the album notes state, 'This is a high adventure in stunning sound.' This band sound best when played loud!
