Sindacato [Union UNION91004 (1998)] As versatile as The Band, Sindacato's second release covers a remarkable range of American roots stylings. Ban- jos, fiddles, mandolins, Dobros and gui- tars drive home the 13 songs on the sec- ond release by the four-man band. It's often a sad and remorseful trip through a desolate and abused landscape on board a slow moving train. This is an impressive and valuable release. (ORLM) review: DirtyLinen1999.
