With an authenticity deeply rooted in the late 70's era of sunny California country-rock, Shevy Smith is a modern throwback. Drawing upon influences like Tom Petty, Maria McKee, and Emmylou Harris, Shevy's tunes reflect a young, free-wheeling attitude coupled with lyrical substance. Shevy, a Kansas native, is perpetually on tour and is also a songwriter for Petty Cash Music, a publishing company based in her adopted hometown of Nashville, TN. She is on tour supporting her sophomore release, September Songs.
