This album has multiple flavors from different genre like Jazz and Country Reggae, but whatever the flavor,except for thr first two tracks in R&B ballad, the album stays true to the offbeat syncopation and upstroke instrumental strums.'Send me an angel' song number 8 on the album, could be classified as durable Country if it was not for this type of reggae treatment. Hiphop raises it's head on song number 12 'Body Parts,' but then comes this offbeat syncopation and instrumental upstroke again. The album contains no voilence or foul language. It is high on family values, and although it's lyrics are not gospel, they rank high on the inspirational list. This album is filled with relationship dynamics; it deals with the growing problems of poor father figure (track # 7) and even warns about HIV/AIDS (Track number 13).
