I am a solo piano artist with emphasis on extemporanous and impromptu performance and recordings. I have been trained in the classical genre as well as having learned several other instruments. I am heavily engulfed in styles of music ranging from classical, reggae, rock, folk, to blues, progressive and new age. My goal as a solo piano artist and an 'ambient' artist is to give the listener an enjoyable way to transcend their mind to another place. The album, "Piano Extempore" is a collection of pieces written in a style known as extempore. By definition, extempore, means in the moment and without preparation.
