Yochk'O Seffer - My Old Roots

This legendary musician has achieved a successful musical career since the "Magma" days, with Zao, Neffesh Music,... His unique musical style is a sort of ethnic Jazz, influenced by Hungarian music and American music (Coltrane), among others. "My old roots" is a collection of pieces from 1976 and 1980, created with Neffesh Music and for "Chromophonie". Some pieces were never released on CD, and one is an unreleased track, recorded in 2005 with violin player Lajos Horvath. It's an excellent introduction to Seffer's lively, inventive and colorful music.
