Both albums are culled from the All Platinum group of labels founded by husband and wife team Joe and Sylvia Robinson and both were recorded at the Robinson's Soul Sound Studios in Englewood, New Jersey in 1971. First up is Willie & West's legendary at Their Best LP, released on the Stang imprint, featuring 10 solid Soul cuts plus two bonus tracks including the previously unissued "Nobody's Fault But Mine". in second place is the self-titled New Sounds LP, released on Turbo, featuring 12 glorious Soul sounds plus Robert Tanners original single version of the Northern Soul in-demander "Sweet Memories".
