Ut Gret - Radical Symmetry

'Pan-idiomatic' (meaning 'spanning many styles & genres) group Ut Gret have been on the experimental music scene since 1983. The latest incarnation of the group focuses on composition and world music influences of member Gregory Acker & the classical inclinations of keyboardist Stephen Roberts. Reference points as diverse as Belgium's Present & Univers Zero and Indonesian gamelan music have informed their eclectic musical stylings. Their music has been praised by many music journalists and by their peers in the 'progressive rock' arena, incuding members of Glass Hammer, Thinking Plague, Present & Cartoon.
