"Phew! That was exciting. The biggest poll we've ever conducted with over 700,000 votes registered. And it was the closest hottest 100 of all time! In the end, only 13 votes separated the top two songs. Muse lead virtually all the way, but even during the last weekend of voting, it was still neck and neck between them and Silverchair. In the end, the whole list of songs was a really great indication of how fantastic and diverse the music scene was in 2007.
