The Steve Grimm Band is a prime example for classic US AOR with Midwest and Heartland Rock influences. Their catchy Rock anthems with strong song writing in the vein of Franke and the Knockouts, Prism, Shooting Star, Cheap Trick and early Survivor will be loved by the AOR and Classic Rock devotees. The career of Steve Grimm, alumnus of the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, goes back to the 70s, when he first met success with his legendary band Bad Boy. For more than a decade Bad Boy was one of the most successful live acts of the American Midwest. With Steve as their lead singer and guitar player the band toured with Rock legends like REO Speedwagon, Journey, Styx, Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC, Ted Nugent and Alice Cooper, to name just a few. And still today Steve is playing gigs with Bad Boy and his cover band Pretty Grimm in the clubs of the greater Milwaukee area. Besides his activities as a recording artist and live musician Steve was active in the education of music, dedicating his time to teach band, choir and orchestra in public schools. During the time between the ending of the 80s and the middle of the 90s Steve's passion for music concentrated on the Steve Grimm Band, recording a total of 21 songs with the group. For the brand new single disc collection all tracks were digitally remastered.
