Robert Craine (Kirk Douglas), a wealthy industrialist on a crusade to bring nuclear energy to the entire world, is plagued by apocalyptic dreams. And when he begins to fear his son may, in fact, be the Antichrist, Craine realizes the power plants he has been designing could be used to bring about the end of the world.
