One of the reasons is doubtless it's sheer scale: a work scored for large forces running typically about 95 to 100 minutes. This is a major work that deserves to be heard far more often. Established in 1956, the Philharmonic \"Mihail Jora\" of Bacau, Romania, today gathers a group of approximately 70 musicians, of which the best are the chamber orchestra \"Tescana\", the members of the renowned \"Trio Syrinx\". (Dorel Baicu - flute, Adrian Petrescu - oboe, Pavel Ionescu - bassoon). The repertoire of the orchestra contains parts of symphonic music, vocal-orchestral and chamber, a great variety of periods and musical styles: Renaissance, Baroque, Classicism, Romanticism and Contemporary. Apart from the weekly concerts, the Philharmonic organizes several national festivals: \"Orpheus of Moldova\", \"The days of contemporary music\", \"The workshop of young composers\".\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Centaur","offers":[{"title":"New \/ CD \/ Requiem Mass 89 Centaur","offer_id":47775717818676,"sku":"CAV3725.2","price":21.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0790\/7436\/1652\/files\/3787933-2549209_87ec01e5-b5e2-4c9b-b13a-c41cfcbeb8be.jpg?v=1791479990","url":"https:\/\/www.fye.com\/products\/orchestra-filarmonicii-mihail-jora-coru-academic-gavriil-musicescu-al-philarmonicii-moldova-requiem-mass-89_aec-cav3725-2","provider":"FYE","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
