New Set of Bruises - New Set of Bruises

2010 release from the underground Punk scene led by former Blocko guitarist/vocalist Nij Lynk. Featuring an assured sound that doesn't sound like a debut, New Set of Bruises build on Nij's unmistakable guitar and voice, and manage to sound both sparkingly original whilst also reassuringly familiar. The same inspiration points are there to be seen: The angular guitar of Leatherface and Drive, complemented with the powerful hooks and a slightly harder Rock edge meaning the influence on Nij of the late great Wiz and Mega City 4 is more prevalent.
