Karen Dixon - It'S Love That Makes A Woman

This is a gem of a Chicago soul masterpiece by Barbara Acklin, faithful to the original, but sublimated into a superb lovers' rock with tough drum & bass. On the flip side is a refreshing number by Charisma. The ear-catching phrase, reminiscent of Young-Holt Unlimited's 'Soulful Strut,' is impressive.
