Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the classic 1977 album by legendary guitarist Jan Akkerman. Released at the close of 1977 on Atlantic Records, Jan Akkerman's self-titled album was his third solo album and his first solo work since departing Focus and was arguably more jazz-rock orientated in direction. This Esoteric Recordings edition has been newly remastered from the original Atlantic Records master tapes and includes the rare single version of ‘Angel Watch’ (previously unreleased on CD). The release includes a booklet, which fully restores the original album artwork and a new essay.
