James Larocca - Wishing Well

After 2 years of painstakingly composing on paper, note by note, his latest CD "The Wishing Well" is here. James says his CD "is dedicated to providing hope and courage to people who must deal with disease in their lives." He would like you to listen to the music, read the stories that go with each piece, and enjoy the journey. This music is deliciously atmospheric - if it was a painting I would say it was abstract expressionism,and if it was historical music I would say it was medieval in tone but with modern chords and rhythms. The highest compliment I can give you is that I wish I was still a dancer and able to move to the pieces, and choreograph them as each one spoke to me. I loved the flute duet followed by the string piece that was so strong with rich textured chords. I loved that you included percussion and sax and voice as well as your signature piano pieces- it was so nourishing to listen to in it's entirety.
