Ill Skillz - Notes from the Native Yards

Ill Skillz originate from Gugulethu, Cape Town and "Notes from the Native Yards" - named for what streets in Gugulethu used to be known as - aims to capture the spirit of their township. Says Uno July, "I think because we are products of the struggle and an underprivileged environment, it's only natural that we speak about what's closer to the heart, not just as a matter of interest or else the music will lack authenticity and honesty."
