In a dystopian near-future, drifter Virgil (Zac Efron) paid driver Keith (Anthony Hayes, who directed and co-wrote) for passage across a blasted stretch of desert... where the pair discovered a sunken gold nugget of incredible size. Agreeing to stand watch over the find until Keith returned with an excavator, Virgil faced a battle with isolation, the elements and his own paranoia that may have fatal consequences.
