George Strait - Strait from the Heart

For this his 1982 second album George again teamed up with producer Blake Mevis (Keith Whitley, Vern Gosdin, Moe Bandy, Earl Thomas Conley). It went platinum producing Strait's first number one single, "Fool Hearted Memory", plus the hits "Marina del Rey", "A Fire I Can't Put Out" & the fan favorite "Amarillo by Morning".
