Live archive release from the British Psychedelic/Alt-Rock band. On this collection, the band have made available their own selection of live recordings from 1986-1990 from six different venues in England and the USA. This album includes live versions of album tracks, singles, cover songs and previously unreleased material from those live sets taken from over four years of touring. GBOA were formed in Leicester in late 1984 by Ian Reynolds (Robber) and Ian Hoxley (Mary). They were part of the 'Grebo' scene, their first release was in 1986. They then signed to Virgin Records and released their first full album in 1987 Drill Your Own Hole. In the centre, so it was necessary to literally drill your own hole in order to play it. This album was followed in 1989 by Stewed to the Gill's which both made the Top 100 Album charts. Later albums Cancer Planet Mission and Pernicious Nonsense were released in 1990 and then shortly after their third US tour, the band decided to split. Various compilations followed but now MLP present the first ever full live album to be released by the Gaye Bykers on Acid.
