The Firehouse Five Plus Two were mostly comprised of cartoon animators from the Disney Studios and their spontaneous sessions were often injected with a good dose of humor. "Stoking the Fire" follows on from the success of the first volume "Settin' the World on Fire" and is a great second helping, showing what a fun and lively jazz band the Firehouse Five were. Also Included in this fantastic new set are rare recordings of the band with Bing Crosby and Ella Fitzgerald.
