Fergus Brown - Burgers Frown

Sydney songwriter Fergus Brown's melodic guitar pop is reminiscent of Ben Kweller and the Shins, but he is equally aligned with the peculiarities of Randy Newman, Jonathan Richman and the Magnetic Fields. His debut record 'Burgers Frown' is a collection of sometimes quirky, sometimes tender, love songs. Fergus' song 'Last Winter' featured prominently on Emmy award-winning US TV series 'The Starter Wife' and he has performed recently with Martha Wainwright, Jens Lekman, Cloud Control, An Horse, Jack Ladder and New Buffalo.
