Faith Faith - Adam Faith

Released at a time when Adam Faith was at the pinnacle of his career, having been a regular on the singles chart, made a number of films, had his own television series and was lined up to appear in pantomime, his eponymous album release from was also the last made with John Barry handling conducting and arranging. The album initially struggled to make an impact, being released at the tail end of 1961 and not making the chart (at #20) until the following March, but the lack of a hit single from the album hindered it's progress. Despite this the album stands up well in the Adam Faith catalogue, proof that he could carry a song as well as any of his rivals during the early 1960s. Hallmark.
