Limited white colored vinyl LP pressing. E. Vax (aka Evan Mast, and one half of Brooklyn duo Ratatat) spent the last years writing and producing with the likes of Kanye West, Frank Ocean, Kid Cudi, and Tayana Taylor. His new solo self-titled album is a collection of instrumental songs, dolloped with moments of exploratory dialogue -disembodied moments that are equally disorienting and moving. The songs are sincere, playful, inviting, curious, and contemplative - all characteristics of Mast himself.
