Dave Valentin - Pure Imagination

Dave Valentin enjoys a fine reputation as a composer, arranger, and band leader in addition to being the most celebrated Latin flutist today. In 2006 Dave was a finalist in the Latin Grammy's Best Latin Jazz Album category for HighNote's "World on a String." After studying with the great Hubert Laws, Valentin was the first artist to sign with the GRP label, respected for it's talented pool of jazz artists. With his long-time friend, pianist Bill O'Connell, Dave works his magic on the nine selections in this un-hackneyed program.
