Silvie Hessová is Czech chamber violinist. In addition to chamber music, she has also performed as a soloist with orchestras (such as Prague Philharmonic, Slovak Philharmonic, Bari Philharmonic, etc.). She is also active as a production manager and as a producer. She is holder of Euro Pragensis Ars award. Katerina Englichová is czech harpist and a fresh recipient of the Prague Music Award. She performed all over Europe, but also in North America, Japan, in China and in many other countries all over the world. She has collaborated with musicians such as Mstislav Rostropovich, Josef Suk or Gerard Caussé and others. Silvie Hessová (violinist) and Katerina Englichová (harpist) chose compositions associated with Poland for this album. The choice of playlist for this album was influenced by Silvia Hessová's stay in Poland, she was also inspired by the terrible history there, and this album commemorates this sad part of Polish history through Jewish-motivated compositions. Most of the compositions are arranged for the harp by Katerina Englichová.
