At Night This City Becomes the Sea is much less ambient than the last BVDUB album, Then, from AY but still carries some of the same feel. It's a very beautiful album. Both ambient and beat are important here. It is much more beat-driven and kind of IDM-ish. At Night This City Becomes the Sea still carries a lot of the feeling as Then but takes it to new places.
