Grammy nominated arranger and pianist Bill Cunliffe presents this recording of latin jazz arrangements. Bill Cunliffe is a former winner of the prestigous Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition. An eclectic mix of standards and new compositons are presented. Featured soloists include Bobby Shew, Bob Sheppard, Arturo Velasco and Bruce Paulson. The rhythm section includes well known latin jazz percussionsists lead by Jose "Papo" Rodriguez and including Ramon Bando and Joey DeLeon. Rene Comacho is on bass.
