2014 release from French leftfield duo Baron Retif and Concepcion Perez. L'INDIEN sees them embark on a new direction as their trademark minimal funk flow and singular cosmic Hip Hop is mixed with future Dub and Soul. It includes the single 'Where's My Soul' featuring Jacaranda Muse singer Vee Makurati. Unlike many beat makers, their music is played live, Baron Retif on drums and sequences and Concepcion Perez on the keyboards. Their music is a mixture of their large musical influences, from Roots Reggae to modern beats, infused with Soul and Jazz. They have been supported by DJs worldwide, such as Laurent Garnier, Lefto, Gilles Peterson and Michael Ruetten.
