This is Prita's debut full length album and it's been a long time in the making, like most indi-artists this album is self financed and has taken the long road to get where it is today. After test driving many avenues and recording venues, Prita decided on recording engineer James Newhouse and 'Real to Reel' studios in Leederville, Western Australia. With the brilliant Roy Martinez brought on board to produce this fine album, the team managed to create a polished yet still earthy and organic sound. Musicians from around WA were called in to peform on the album - Gavin Gavino (double bass) formally of the 'shoesmiths', Roy Martinez (electric bass, keys, addional percussion and guitar effects) regular with the Yabu Band, DMC, and session musician for many acts, Tim Bates (drums) plays in Prita and the Perfect Strangers and Namoowolf Downs, Andy Fisenden (drums) on earlier recordings, Sam Graham (trumpet) trained at the conservatorium of WA and guest appearances with many bands. The album was launched at the Ellington Jazz Club in Perth April 2010 to a packed house!
