Peter de Fretes was a very special Hawaiian - Indonesian musician. Famous he became with his Peter de Fretes Trio and with this album "Flowers Of Paradise'. His also appeared as special guest in concerts with The Black Dynamites and Andy Tielman. Peter was the younger brother of world famous George de Fretes and Arie de Fretes (father of artist Roy de Fretes). After many years of living in Indonesia he moved and traveled to other countries like Hawaii, Austria, Germany and America. In 1979 he settled down in The Netherlands. This album is a unique document by one of the worlds greatest Hawaiian music performers
