Recorded live from 1994-95 at the old Hayward Lumber Building in Carmel, California. This monthly jam became a part of the Carmel Recreation Department events. The room had great acoustics and Monterey KMST-TV46 caught the show. A family experience with impromptu requests from the audience, and totally unrehearsed. 'Just Off Shore', a vocal by Nick was written for his Dad who loved to sail, and features an Alto Flute solo. Nick Williams is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, transcriber, and educator. He has worked many countries with celebs like Wayne Newton, Jay Leno, Clint Eastwood, Bill Cosby, Chic, Flora Purim, Bill Barry, Steve Allen, Don Haas, The Gatlin Bros., Lee Konitz, FirstClass, and PBS. Nick is now composing for Infomercials, Videos, and 'The Karen Grant Show' [Mon-Fri, 4:00-6:00 P.M. CST on radio station KION/KSFO 1460 A.M.]. Williams' noble spirit is clearly demonstrated on this CD with Carmel's Bucky Boyns, piano, educator Marty Bartoli and sound engineer Sal Marullo, drums, with Carl Loschiavo {Nick's ex-student} on bass.
