What a thrill it is to hear this collection of compositions by Jeff Janke and his merry musicians from Northern California, The Neoteric Swing Orchestra. The neoteric concept was developed primarily by Jeff as a way to compose, perform and preserve the spirit of swing music. As you listen to these tunes, you will be impressed with Jeff's command of the idiom and his skill at recreating the mood and essence of the twentieth century swing era. I've known Jeff since his days as a high school student in Garden Grove, California.
