Release from the acclaimed guitarist. Mike Stone is an accomplished artist and a musical chameleon. He continues to supply fans with music in a variety of styles. Releasing what promises to be his most adventurous album yet, Lucky Dog offers the listener a set of smooth polished Jazz that will take you on a musical journey. A natural progression from his debut Jazz album Anywhere, Stone not only produces and writes the songs on Lucky Dog he also sings and plays all the instruments. "This record was approached differently, I gave myself the challenge of capturing the old "big band" feel using the trio format. There are a lot less pieces in a trio than there are in a big band and that's where the fun began." says Stone. He also commented "Making this album was both a fun and creative challenge for me. Jazz is a rabbit-hole that keeps making me better as a musician and makes me realize just how much more there is to learn. I love it!"
