This album is a collection of my original tunes and my own intrepretation of some of the greatest latino tunes, I asked some of my friends to help with this and they gave me their fantastic talents to allow me to take each song a level I had hoped to reach. As far as I know I have the only Spanish verse for Seven Spanish angels and the guitar work by Mike is just great. My version of the House of the Rising Sun is something I have been working on for a while. The research I did on the song leads me to believe the the house was a prison for women, so I asked the 3 women to sing on this song to pay homage to the women who spent and are spending time in prison. Also I have always wanted a latino beat and a rock & roll guitar and flamenco type duet so I asked Martin and Kay to help and the work they did is incredible. My original tunes are all about love, as I am a romantic at heart, and Cheap cigar is my fun song and again written about the beautiful women I have been lucky enough to know. Hope you enjoy.
