Xing stands for crossing. The music from Xing To is a crossing between afro Cuban latin rhythm and jazz music The trombone player Martin Richard Lehner is the head and creative song writer of this quintet. He wrote especially for this formation 15 new compositions, with rhythmical grooves from Guaguanco, Guaracha, Cha Cha Cha, Mambo, Danzón, Mozambique, Bembé, Bolero, Merengue, Socca and Patido Alto. He is accompanied by the amazing quartet 'Un Poco Loco', which successfully plays concerts for several years, including as recurring monthly house band at the Jazz Barrage, Zurich. These are Adrian Frey on piano, Richard Pechota on bass and the two percussionists Willy Kotoun and David Stauffacher.
