Blending punk, Americana and indie rock and featuring the dual vocal styling's of Jay Boss Rubin and Harry Graff Kimball, Los Chinches (Spanish for "The Bedbugs") is a bar band for the 21st century. Rubin, from Portland, Oregon, sings from the gut in a hope-tinged West Coast howl. Kimball, a lifelong Manhattanite, croons in a low velvety tenor that's as world-weary as it is whimsical. Their 2015 debut album, Troy Pork Store, is a variety pack of boozy sing-a-longs, imaginings of the afterlife, anti-brunch ballads, unrequited love anthems, songs for the road and more. Recorded at Don Fury Studios in Troy, NY.
