Last Train Out is a blues based rock 'n' roll band whose original songs intentionally echo the great music of the late '60s and early '70s. Their eponymous debut features 12 barn burning tracks, all delivered with a swagger and verve befitting the term 'classic rock.' Personnel include Lou Kaplan (ex-Savoy Brown and Mad Jack) on bass and vocals, Bob Bachta (ex-Joe Whiting Band) on guitar, and Al Macomber (ex-Savoy Brown and Mad Jack) on drums. The album was co-produced by Last Train Out, ex-Blue Cheer guitarist Andrew 'Duck' MacDonald, and Grammy Award winning engineer Rob Hunter. MacDonald describes Last Train Out's music as 'a cross between Bad Company and Lynyrd Skynyrd.' High praise indeed!
