In Your Will is a refreshing new sound which encompasses smooth breathy vocal tones, low growls, and heady scatting which will blow one away. LaShawna speaks to God in this project by letting Him know that she has made a vow to serve Him for the rest of her life. Her one and only desire is to be in His will so that she may continue to live for Him. In her search to be in the will of the Lord, LaShawna finds herself literally singing love songs to God. She expresses her love by telling Him that He is so wonderful; and she adores and trusts Him. Who would not serve a God who is the bright and morning star, the sunshine after our rainy days? The one who wakes us up and get's us going "Everyday" is the one we should all take time and worship because he is "So Worthy". God sent his son, Jesus Christ, so that we would be reconciled to Him. It's such an overwhelming feeling to hear LaShawna sing about the "Lamb Slain..." There is a feeling of spiritual empowerment as the song "I Can Do All Things" is rendered. She encourages people who feel less of themselves, that they are the head and not the tail, they are above and not beneath...why? Because "I can do all things...He can do anything but fail..." Sit back and enjoy the ride as she takes you high and low on your spiritual intimate time with God.
