The Coming Glory is Kirsten Melrose's second release, in which she gathered a collection of songs that she wrote while studying the Bible. Each song represents a story or a specific principle that resonated with her and compelled her to communicate it with music and her own lyrics. She found that as she studied ancient personalities, their stories were also her story, in principle. This is the beauty of the Words of God; they are living and active and we are challenged and changed as we let them speak to us. Kirsten's songs tell such stories in new and refreshing ways that will surely cause her listeners to connect with them deeply. For this album, Kirsten collaborated with producer Tony Alany of Browndog studios, just outside Washington DC. With his help and the talents of some incredible musicians in that community, the songs are arranged in a way that keeps Kirsten's vocals front and center, but brings swelling dynamics and memorable hooks.
