King, Buddy Guy, T-Bone Burnett, Keb Mo and Richard Thompson to name a few. He has also composed music for TV and Films. Joe Sublett is co-leader of The Texacali Horns along with Darrell Leonard and a member of The Phantom Blues Band. On 'Subtones' Joe steps out as leader and growls and wails his way through thirteen soulful, tough, gritty and sometimes surprisingly tender saxophone pieces. This is music for your soul.
