This eclectic album begins with 'Devil In my Headlights' a upbeat country rock tune, then moves into 'Disconnected Lives' a blues tune with a great instrumental solo in the middle. 'Are You Gone' is a new age style with two guitars and a vocal with harmony. 'Black Tears' has a bossa nova feel complete with bongos. 'I wonder' is a rock song reminiscent of the band Alabama. 'So Many Lies' is a piano ballad with great harmony. 'I Met Him On A Touring Ship' is a guitar ballad about true love. 'White Powder' has a Russian, calypso feel with a gypsy violin thrown in. 'Guitar Man' is a upbeat rock song followed by '3 O'clock in The Morning' a slow country ballad with fiddle and slide guitar. 'My Daddy Left Me' is a blues tune reminiscent of Billie Holiday. 'What Rita Coolidge Sang' is a tribute to songs by Donald Byrd, Eddie Harris, Esther Phillips, Quincy Jones, Eddie Kendricks, Les McCann, Caldera. 'I'm Going to Write Me a Sexy Song' is a upbeat country tune about love met at line dancing, with some great fiddle. 'Little Bird' is a piano ballad with great harmonies and violin. 'Thought It Would Last Forever' is a ballad about love lost. 'Gotta Keep On Going' is a great upbeat rock and roll song. This album has great songs, great vocal, great musicians, the variety keeps you wanting more.
