At the speed of music, I traveled through 65 days in 70 minutes in the a blink of an eye. The 2000 measures of music that comprise String Quartets #3, 4 & 5 feel as if one journey... a triptych, if you will. I'm in a perpetual psycho-cybernetic process of listening... constantly aware of continuity and balance... suspending time within the boundaries (if there really are any) of composition.
