On Timelapse, George Sarah (Stereotaxic Device, THC, Cathexis) constructs an industrial soundscape that is soaring and bombastic, while being atmospheric and refined. These 10 orchestrated instrumental electronic tracks reside somewhere between horror and the sublime: A step beyond his well-known scoring for the likes of CSI, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, HBO, Discovery Channel, and the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. "The electronic-classical hybrid certainly isn't a new idea, but the way it's presented here feels overwhelmingly unique. George Sarah seems to have tapped into his own distinct style and it's arrived at the perfect crossroads between the best of electronic, experimental, and classical. Sarah already seems to have arrived in the future, which is much more interesting terrain."
