A Cuban imigre living in Miami following the Cuban embargo in 1959, the comedian El Tadeo became something of a folk hero. His monologues filled with dark humor and double meanings were quite popular among his fellow imigres, and he became a popular attraction in the clubs of Little Havana and Hialeah. These very special, historically significant recordings stand as a document of his unique talent and offer a glimpse into the culture and mores of the Cuban population living in Miami at the time. Recorded in the early to mid 70's. All selections newly remastered. This product is an authorized manufactured on demand CD-R
