A Christmas Reeding is a beautiful rendering of traditional Christmas carols performed by Double Entendre Music Ensemble, a classical chamber group filled with oboes, English Horns and bassoons. The unique arrangements for this combination of instruments are festive and a joy to listen to. The CD includes traditional melodies as well as music by Hans Leo Hassler, Dietrich Buxtehude, J. S. Bach, Pietro Yon, Gustav Holst and Ralph Vaughan Williams. A Christmas Reeding was recorded in Christ and St. Stephen's Church in New York City.
